Seventh World Telecommunication / ICT Policy Forum (WTPF-26) - Nassau, The Bahamas | 9–11 June 2026
The Government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas is honoured to host the World Telecommunication / Information and Communication Technology Policy Forum 2026 (WTPF-26) in Nassau from 9 to 11 June 2026.
Hosting WTPF-26 underscores The Bahamas’ commitment to advancing international cooperation, promoting digital inclusion, and contributing constructively to global ICT policy discussions that support sustainable development for all.
Convened by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), WTPF-26 will provide a global platform for policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, academia, and international organizations to exchange views and build a shared vision on key policy issues on shaping an inclusive, sustainable, resilient, and innovative digital future.
As host country, The Bahamas is proud to welcome delegates from around the world to engage in forward-looking discussions on:
- Bridging digital divides, including access to skills, connectivity, and meaningful use of ICTs
- Green digital transformation and environmental sustainability
- Resilience of telecommunication and ICT infrastructure, including in the face of climate and disaster risks
- Space connectivity, including satellite and non-terrestrial networks
- Strengthening ICT-centric innovation ecosystems and entrepreneurship
The Forum will be preceded by a Strategic Dialogue on 8 June 2026, providing an opportunity for high-level reflection and exchange on the above topics, which are particularly relevant to Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and other vulnerable and underserved communities.
Venue
Atlantis Paradise Island Resort
WTPF-26 will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort, Nassau, The Bahamas.
Set on the shores of Paradise Island, Atlantis provides a world-class conference environment with modern meeting facilities, integrated accommodation, and easy access to Nassau’s cultural and natural attractions. The venue offers an efficient and secure setting for high-level international dialogue, networking, and collaboration throughout the Forum.

Accommodation for delegates will be available at the Forum venue during the event period.
Delegation Information
To support effective planning and organization of WTPF-26, delegations are kindly requested to indicate:
1. The estimated number of participants in their delegation; and
2. The expected level of the Head of Delegation (e.g. Minister, Deputy Minister, Head of Regulatory Authority, Permanent Representative, Chief Executive Officer).
This information should be shared with the ITU Secretariat at sg-registration@itu.int, preferably by 31 March 2026.
