The World Telecommunication/ICT Policy Forum 2026 has been rescheduled to 2 – 4 September 2026 in Nassau, The Bahamas. A Strategic Dialogue will be held on 1 September 2026.

As host country,

The Bahamas is proud to welcome delegates from around the world to engage in forward-looking discussions on:

  • Bridging digital divides, including access to skills, connectivity, and meaningful use of ICTs
  • Green digital transformation and environmental sustainability
  • Resilience of telecommunication and ICT infrastructure, including in the face of climate and disaster risks
  • Space connectivity, including satellite and non-terrestrial networks
  • Strengthening ICT-centric innovation ecosystems and entrepreneurship

The Forum will be preceded by a Strategic Dialogue on September 1, 2026, providing an opportunity for high-level reflection and exchange on the above topics, which are particularly relevant to Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and other vulnerable and underserved communities.

WTPF-26 will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort, Nassau, The Bahamas.

The venue offers an efficient and secure setting for high-level international dialogue, networking, and collaboration throughout the Forum.

We encourage delegations to submit information as soon as possible

To support effective planning and organization of WTPF-26, delegations are kindly requested to indicate:

  • The estimated number of participants in their delegation; and
  • The expected level of the Head of Delegation (e.g. Minister, Deputy Minister, Head of Regulatory Authority, Permanent Representative, Chief Executive Officer)*.

This information should be shared with the ITU Secretariat at sg-registration@ itu.int, as soon as possible.

*Special provisions will be made for VIPs.
