The Government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas is honoured to host the World Telecommunication / Information and Communication Technology Policy Forum 2026 (WTPF-26) in Nassau from 9 to 11 June 2026. Hosting WTPF-26 underscores The Bahamas’ commitment to advancing international cooperation, promoting digital inclusion, and contributing constructively to global ICT policy discussions that support sustainable development for all.
Convened by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), WTPF-26 will provide a global platform for policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, academia, and international organizations to exchange views and build a shared vision on key policy issues on shaping an inclusive, sustainable, resilient, and innovative digital future.

The Bahamas is proud to welcome delegates from around the world to engage in forward-looking discussions on:
- Bridging digital divides, including access to skills, connectivity, and meaningful use of ICTs
- Green digital transformation and environmental sustainability
- Resilience of telecommunication and ICT infrastructure, including in the face of climate and disaster risks
- Space connectivity, including satellite and non-terrestrial networks
- Strengthening ICT-centric innovation ecosystems and entrepreneurship
The Forum will be preceded by a Strategic Dialogue on 8 June 2026, providing an opportunity for high-level reflection and exchange on the above topics, which are particularly relevant to Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and other vulnerable and underserved communities.

Official government delegations, other participants, and media representatives are required to first register through the ITU website. After completing the ITU registration, all participants are required to finalize visa and entry procedures in accordance with the regulations of The Bahamas.
